Responsibilities:

* The Service Desk is primarily in-charge of technical support for REWSStools®. REWSStools® is a LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP) based software used to monitor GSM networks. As Team leader, you will be responsible for leading a small team of service desk report. This includes coaching service desk staff, evaluating staff performance, preparing work schedule, and ensuring workforce coverage of the 24/7 service desk;
* Track service requests and incident tickets and ensure it is resolved within the specified SLA;
* Ensure customer satisfaction by validating service desk responses to customers – if they communicate properly and within the specified timeframe;
* Validate and coordinate ownership and accountability of service requests by individuals, and even departments and other cross-functional departments concerned if necessary;
* Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on the performance of the service desk;
* Suggest and implement programs for improving overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree holder with at least 5 years experience working for a Network Operations Center (ISP or Telco), or an IT-helpdesk;
* Has handled technical teams in the past (supervisory or managerial role);
* Willing to work in shifts, and at times even on holidays;
* Excellent problem solving skills and troubleshooting skills;
* Excellent communication skills and is customer-focused;
* Tech-Savvy;
* Confident and well-motivated;
* Organized and with a keen eye for detail;
* Must have at least two of the following skill sets (to be validated by training/education, certifications, or prior work experience): (1) Networking (IP, GSM, 3G, NG); (2) Telecommunications GSM (switching or NOC); (3) ITIL; (4) Service Management; (5) MIS; (6) Database administration preferably MySQL;

Responsibilities:

* Directly participate in the implementation of solutions at TELCO operators around the world.
* Interface with Clients (both Trials and Paying Customer) in relation to the implementation and operations of REWSStools.
* Handles the detailed telecom requirement analysis for NSS/BSS solutions to produce functional design specifications.
* Collaboration and coordination with the internal teams and other support teams outside the GSC in the implementation, testing, and support of NSS/BSS performance/traffic solutions
* Responsible for the proactive monitoring of clients network performance as part of the SLA.
* Performs other telecom support tasks deemed vital in the network operations center (NOC) as assigned by the immediate superior.
* Provide 24-hour customer technical support on REWSStools solutions from the Telecom perspective.

Requirements:

* Passed Government Board in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
* Work experience in a similar capacity/role having at least 8-10 years experience in technical support, implementations (commissioning and configurations), operation and maintenance, and performance management of the vendor NSS/BSS assigned.
* Knowledge of GSM call flows, routing concepts, c7 signalling, NSS/BSS performance counters and tables, radio interface protocol messaging (gsm, gprs), call quality measurements, number analysis, c7 network plan, protocol concepts of ISUP – TCAP – MAP – SCCP, network clocking and synchronization, call charging records, TCP/IP, and inter-processes with the OMC – NSS/BSS and other network elements.
* Competent in windows applications, MS Office, and with knowledge in any programming language.
* Innovative, self-driven, adapts and learns quickly, team player, possesses good interpersonal skills, and can work under pressure.
* Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
* With network management systems experience or network operations center experience.
* With the ability to analyze network traffic statistics & performance logs.
* Knowledgeable in Unix or Linux programming language(s).
